My friend has a rebuilt performance chevy 350 and hes selling it cheap and i need to get my stang running. What would need to be done? What parts are compatible/incompatible?

Why? Cause a 390-460 will fit and stay Ford wih a little bit of modification.. KEEP IT FORD unless your talkin’ 1928-1954

Chevy trans th350 or th400 will fit but will have too fab up some motor mounts and change the transmissionwith one from chevy that work on fordsunless you make them fit but will fit.

no!!! i have tryied it it did not fit plus if it did it would run crapy .
a ford mustang is to nice to do that
