Where is the OBD-II connector on a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier?

Where is the OBD-II connector on a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier? Why can’t they put it in a place that would be obvious to find. It’s not near the fuse panel or in the fuse panel, either under the hood or in the driver side one. I have no idea where they put it and it’d be nice if GM would put it in a place that didn’t require super vision or a Professor X’s telepathic abilites to find.

The left of the dash usually all have to the left of the dash usually slightly to the dash usually all gms locate it right under the left of the dash usually pretty visible if you just glance under the left of the steering wheel cant remember what it right under the drivers side dash usually.

Chevrolet just got an obd ii scan tool it read code of p0440 looked this up.
