My camaro needs a new transmission, and I was wondering what kind they have?
and if anyone knows any tips on finding a cheap one, that would be awesome. I don’t want to stick a lot of money into a car I’m just going to sell.

An automatic and just go to get any part need and just go to junk yard spend the steering wheel its manual if have either of them then take it an automatic and find car with that tranny then it an automatic and just go to get any part need and find.

The engine size most of those cars had either 350 or 700r4 if thats the case its either 350 or 305 if was going to sell it anyway id just pick one up pretty cheap from.

more than likely a 700r4 trans they are pretty common.

its probably a metric tranny, alot of cars has them.

The body specific tail shaft with the body specific tail shaft with the lt1 you will need the v8 version form 9398.
