What causes a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo to not start?

My sister called me to say that her car will not start after wanting to leave the store. She says that when she trys to crank it, the engine makes a clicking noise. All lights turn on when she puts the key in, But it just not wants to crank over.

Low battery voltage. (most common)
She may have left the lights on……
A simple jump start with “jumper cables” should do the trick.
