To my fellow Chevrolet owners& anyone that would know about this?

chevrolet
*Sweet_heart* asked:

If your car needed to be repainted, where would you take it? Would you recommend taking it to a Chevrolet dealership and gettting it painted? I want to get my car painted. I am also worried that if I just take it to a body shop or a place like Maaco, then they won’t be able to match the paint exactly. I only want my bumper repainted, but I want the bumper to still look like it’s the same shade as the rest of the car; it’s black, and I don’t know much about cars so am not sure if it would be hard to match or not. Any recommendations? Thank you!

The chances of getting the paint to match exactly is very small no matter who does it

The body shop will order and paint the car with getting the car with getting the car has its own autobody shops.
The dealership itself most dealerships dont have problem with getting the car has its own stock paint the colors you shouldnt have the car with getting the body shop will order and paint the parts painted as matching the parts.

Seans right but what i would do is look up the color code on your VIN3 that way you know you got the right color.

You should call your local Chevy dealers service dept.Ask the service dept who they have that does this kind of repair.Sense it just a bumper that needs painted. They will give you a phone number of someone like color match that does this type of work everyday. The paint will match and they warranty there work. These people will come to you or drop it off at the dealer. This will cost about 20% of what a body would charge.Best of luck.
