I have a 1989 chevrolet caprice 9C1 (police package) 5.7L no AC. I need help on how to replace the heater core. I have heard that you need to crawl under the passenger side dash and go that route. but do you? OR do you remove it through the engine compartment side ??? Anything helps!!!

as long as it’s in suitable driving condition, I don’t necessarily care if it’s a little rusty.
It’d be nice if someone could find how much it would cost for one that’s in practically perfect condition and then one that’s a little ‘cheap’.
