The 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche gives the comfort of a sport- utility vehicle combined with updated exterior styling and new interior design made of quality materials. Standard safety features of the Avalanche includes antilock disc brakes, stability control, OnStar emergency communications system, and side curtain airbags with rollover sensor. It earned a five-star rating for protection of front occupants in head-on collisions in government crash tests.
