1994 Chevrolet Transmission Clutch Slipping going into Overdrive?

CSN asked:

1994 Chevrolet with 350 all gears shift fine except when it goes into overdrive, it begins to shift and the rpm begins to drop. However, the rpm does not drop fully before pausing in the middle and then dropping the rest of the way. Someone said this might be a slipping clutch. Is this serious? It still smoothly shifts into overdrive, but just that pause makes me a little worried. Thanks.

The secondary rpm drop approx 500 rpm change.
The trans releases the secondary rpm change.

The pause your feeling on how long it will probably stop it has been since the torque converter lock up switch getting stopped up switch.
